Melissa McCarthy appears to have had a blast at the BAFTAs.
The actress was seen being carried back to her hotel at around 5am following a night of partying in London.
Melissa, who stars in new movie Can You Ever Forgive Me? with Richard E Grant, was looking a little worse for wear as she was apparently guided towards her London hotel.
The Bridesmaids star was seen being escorted by two men, with one standing on either side of her and clinging onto her arms to hold her upright, while witnesses say she was talking gibberish.
Looking glamorous in a floor-length black gown, Melissa was pictured being led up a kerb after a long night of partying at the glitzy bash.
The men were seen placing their hands on Melissa’s back as they helped her out of a taxi and up a set of stone steps.
Meanwhile, Melissa’s new co-star got very emotional when he received his first ever Oscar nomination at the age of 61.
Richard received a Best Supporting Actor nod for his role alongside Melissa, in the movie that tells the unbelievable true story of author Lee Isreal.
In a video he shared on Twitter , he said: "Am levitating at this astonishing news. Thank you to @TheAcademy for this nomination in such incredible company. I’m indebted to so many people but most of all @melissamccarthy & Marielle Heller @cyefm @SearchlghtUK"
The British actor portrays a drug-addict and homeless man named Jack, who befriends struggling writer Israel just as she begins a criminal scheme to make money from forged literary documents.
Melissa is also nominated for Best Actress.
At the BAFTAs, they were tipped for the same awards, as well as Best Adapted Screenplay.
Unfortunately the film didn’t pick up any of the gongs at the ceremony on Sunday night.
Mirror Online has contacted Melissa’s representatives for comment.
