Selena Gomez appears to be getting her confidence back. Only a few days after being a guest of honor at WE Day California, Selena hit the red carpet and served as a featured speaker at The Hollywood Reporter‘s “Empowerment in Entertainment” event.
On the red carpet, the singer wore a classic, retro-chic look highlighted by a black Celine dress with white polka dots, dramatic pastel blue eye shadow and a 194o’s style side barrette.
At the event, Selena introduced the first class of a specially selected group of high school students who had been granted fellowships to study media, business and leadership in an effort to increase diversity among executives in Hollywood. The fellowships were sponsored by The Hollywood Reporter in conjunction with top media companies, local school districts and three universities.
