McDonald’s broke customers’ hearts when it revealed its McPickle burger was an April Fool’s Day joke.
But thankfully, there’s no need to be too down about the menu prank.
A Maccy D’s fan has come up with a way to order the burger in store.
Here’s how to get your hands on the pickle-filled menu item.
Matt Little revealed how he got hold of the bogus McDonald’s burger.
The crafty chap, from Tasmania, revealed he asked the cashier to whip him up the joke menu item.
By ordering a Big Mac without the meat – and with piles of pickles instead – he was able to replicate the McPickle.
All the menu alterations set him back £2, which isn’t a huge price to pay if you’re a pickle addict.
Matt told news.com.au his family were a little mortified by his unusual order.
A McDonald’s cashier also seems to have been confused by the entire ordeal.
The dad recalled: “I went up to the counter trying to explain to the poor girl what I wanted, and she looked at me horrified…
“When she brought it over after we sat down, she looked at me and said, ‘That’s too many pickles’…
“My wife and my six-year-old daughter were just staring at me, confused. They didn’t say anything.”
As keen as Matt was on the idea of the burger, he doesn’t plan on ordering another in the future.
