Things are looking dire in Neighbours when Sheila (Colette Mann) goes missing after an argument with Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis). Could she die before she’s had the chance to make it up to Gary (Damien Richardson)?
Sheila is desperate to make amends with Gary but he’s ready to fully turn his back on her after what she did with Kyle (Chris Milligan) and Amy (Zoe Cramond). He has no intention of letting her off easily for this and no amount of apologising will do the trick. Sheila is crushed but tries to get on with things by throwing herself into trying to garner donations for the Foundation.
Her mood ends up costing her donations though, and when Paul (Stefan Dennis) makes a dig at her she snaps, fuming that she’s the bad guy while he’s got off Scot free. She’s left shattered and hits rock bottom, fearing she’s lost her son for good.
Later, a concerned Shane comes looking for Sheila who hasn’t turned up for work, which is very unlike her. The real worry then sets in when they realise she also let Toadie (Ryan Moloney) down at the Foundation when she failed to show there too. What’s happened to her?
Gary thinks it’s all for attention, but things go from bad to worse when they realise she didn’t return home that night.
Petrified, Amy and Kyle call the police and Mark (Scott McGregor) reveals in the last sighting of Sheila she was in a very distressed state. It suddenly dawns on Gary how grave the situation really is. Could he actually have lost his mum? What has happened to Sheila?
Scenes air from Monday 19th August at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5.
