It’s asking a lot for Milansbar and last season’s hero Regal Flow along with Raz De Maree to win at their age.
It’s been a long time since a 10-year-old has won so Dell’ Arca and Dawson City have a question mark over them.
A first-three finish last time has been important so Smooth Stepper, Potters Corner, Get On The Yager, Kilkishen, Final Nudge and Jetstream Jack all go.
Prime Venture and Jammin Masters have never won over fences before, while Back To The Thatch hasn’t won over further than 3m.
Ballydine would be the highest winner in the official ratings since Synchronised in 2010.
That leaves us with a shortlist of two — Arthur’s Gift and Chef D’Oeuvre. They are both a backable each-way price but we’ll narrow it down to one in ARTHUR’S GIFT.
He wasn’t stopping when winning in the mud at Carlisle last time so should see out this marathon trip.
