You Won’t Believe What Dwayne Johnson Eats for His Cheat Meals

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson doesn’t mess around when it comes to his “cheat” meals. While the Ballers star reportedly loads up on healthy protein, veggies and healthy grains during the week – Muscle and Fitness reported in 2015 that he consumes seven daily meals consisting of a total of 2.3 pounds of cod, 12 eggs, hearty helpings of steak and chicken plus two potatoes, vegetables and rice – a quick glance at his Instagram feed indicates he allows himself to indulge once a week.

What Movies Has Jay Hernandez from 'Magnum P.I.' Been In?

Jay Hernandez is making waves as the star of the rebooted Magnum P.I. on CBS. While not everyone was on board when the network announced it was bringing back the classic ‘80s TV show, Hernandez has won over fans with his portrayal of Thomas Magnum, a role made famous by Tom Selleck.

TV viewers might not be too familiar with the 40-year-old California native Hernandez, but the actor and model has had a long career since his first role back in 1998.

Hernandez broke into acting in 1998 with a role as Antonio Lopez on the sitcom Hang Time, which aired on NBC. His first major movie role came in 2000, when he starred opposite Kirsten Dunst in Crazy/Beautiful. Critics praised his performance in the teen-focused drama, with Roger Ebert saying he brought “real conviction” to his role as Carlos, the focused, college-bound kid who falls for Dunst’s privileged, troubled character.

Hernandez followed up Crazy/Beautiful with a steady string of other movies, including a small part in the 2001 horror film Joy Ride and more prominent roles in two sports movies: The Rookie from 2002 and 2004’s Friday Night Lights.

In 2005, Hernandez starred in the gory Eli Roth horror film Hostel, as a backpacking college student who is kidnapped by a sadistic killer. He returned for the sequel Hostel: Part II in 2007. He was also seen in World Trade Center, Lakeview Terrace, Quarantine, and Nothing Like the Holidays.

On TV, he had a starring role in the short-lived ABC series Six Degrees, which aired from 2006 to 2007. He’s also had roles in Nashville, Last Resort, Gang Related, and The Expanse.

More recently, he played Mila Kunis’s love interest in Bad Moms and A Bad Moms Christmas, starred as El Diablo in Suicide Squad, and was in the Netflix movie Bright.

How he feels about stepping into Tom Selleck’s shoes

Hernandez has admitted that he was nervous about taking on the iconic Magnum P.I. role made famous by Tom Selleck.

“People are very attached to (the show) because it’s nostalgic for them; they have a connection to it,” Hernandez said in an interview with the New York Daily News. “I watched it growing up as a kid and I was a big fan of Tom and his portrayal of Magnum.”

“Initially, I was a little trepidatious myself about portraying such an iconic character,” he added. “But when I saw what the show was about and what they wanted to do with it, I realized it was something different. We’ve also introduced the show to a whole new demographic and a whole new audience. I think that’s cool.”

What’s next for Jay Hernandez?

Right now, it seems that Hernandez is staying focused on Magnum P.I. His IMDB page doesn’t list any upcoming projects. CBS hasn’t made a decision about whether the show will be renewed for Season 2.

Fans are also curious about whether Hernandez will return for a future Suicide Squad movie. While his El Diablo character seemingly didn’t survive the first film, an Instagram post from co-star Joel Kinnaman suggests that Hernandez might be getting ready for a sequel. We’ll have to be patient to find out what happens, since production on the film is still in its early stages.

Say What?! This Vending Machine Sells Bacon Strips for $1

Bacon for all! On Tuesday, December 4, the Ohio Pork Council unveiled its first bacon vending machine, which is temporarily located on the campus of Ohio State University, where students are currently in the midst of studying for final exams.

The device can aptly be found in OSU’s College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences, and is loaded with ready-to-eat bacon snacks such as cooked bacon strips and bacon bits from the likes of meat producers Smithfield, Hormel and Sugardale. It will remain on the bustling university campus through Thursday, December 13, so ravenous teachers and students alike can get their bacon fix.

“The bacon vending machine is a unique and fun way for the Ohio Pork Council to support Ohio State students and promote the pork industry at the same time,” said Dave Shoup, the president-elect of the Ohio Pork Council, in a statement according to Today Food.

What’s more? The Chicago Tribune reports that the machine, which has proven to be so popular that it needs to be restocked “four or five times a day,” sells everything for $1, and its proceeds will benefit the university’s meat science program.

When the bacon-themed vending machine was first unveiled, it was met with mixed reviews on Facebook. For example, some were quick to point out that bacon is hardly a healthy or environmentally-friendly study snack. “High cholesterol, heart attacks and premature death for everyone!” wrote one critic. “The Ohio State University pretends like they care about preventing cancer, then promotes this processed meat garbage. All for the almighty dollar. Disgusting!”

Added another: “Who cares? Pork is contaminated and bacon bad for you anyway.”

Still, others were eager for some different snacking options as the busy study period rolls on. As one fan succinctly put it, “Everything is better with bacon!”

What do you get the daughter of India’s richest man for her wedding? Beyoncé

Isha Ambani's father is the richest man in India. Her family's Mumbai home, named for the mythical Atlantic island Antilia, has 27 stories, three helipads and is estimated to be one of the world's most expensive properties, second only to Buckingham Palace.

She has degrees from Yale and Stanford and sits on the board of directors for India's largest retailer and its largest 4G network. And just last week, Ambani, 27, stood beside Priyanka Chopra as the international star wore a 22-metre veil and married pop singer Nick Jonas.

So how does a gal make herself stand out amid so much opulence?

Always Beyoncé.

Ambani is about to be married, and at her pre-wedding festivities on Sunday in Udaipur, Rajasthan, Beyoncé performed a private concert for the bride-to-be's guests.

It wasn't just a few songs, either. At the luxe Oberoi Udaivilas hotel, Beyoncé sang "Crazy in Love," "Naughty Girl" and "Perfect," according to reports, and cycled through several outfit changes that were detailed in the Indian media.

One ensemble, a red dress from Indian designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, which included a headpiece and bracelets that resembled traditional Indian accessories, led some to criticise Beyoncé, calling it an act of cultural appropriation.

But others, many of whom identified themselves as South Asian, defended Beyoncé online and said her look was instead cultural appreciation. (The bride and groom did not weigh in on the matter.)

Beyoncé's private concert has helped draw international attention to the wedding of Ambani and Anand Piramal later this week.

The lavish, days-long celebration has been dubbed "the big, fat Indian wedding," and the guest list – which includes Hillary Clinton, Arianna Huffington and much of Bollywood – explains why.

Attendees arrived by chartered planes and luxury sedans and were given access to an app that mapped out the wedding festivities. Other VIP guests reportedly included newlyweds Chopra and Jonas, legendary Indian cricket player Sachin Tendulkar, 21st Century Fox CEO James Murdoch, and Bollywood stars, such as Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

The week-long party is going to cost an estimated $US100 million ($139 million), according to Bloomberg.

A family representative told Bloomberg that the Ambanis set up a bazaar to showcase the work of local artisans, and donated enough food to the city of Udaipur to feed 5,100 people three meals a day for four days.

The union of Ambani and Piramal will bring together the business empires of two of India's wealthiest, most influential families.

Ambani's father, Mukesh Ambani, is the 19th richest man in the world with a net worth of $US43.4 billion ($60 billion), according to Forbes.

He is chairman of Reliance Industries, an oil and gas company that his father began as a small textile manufacturer in the 1960s. In 2016, Ambani founded the 4G phone service Jio – an idea planted years earlier by his daughter while she was a student at Yale.

Isha Ambani graduated from the Ivy League institution and worked as a business analyst in New York, according to the Economic Times.

She later joined the boards of Jio and Reliance Retail, a branch of Reliance Industries, and earned an MBA from Stanford.

Ambani's mother, Nita Ambani, is an international power player in the realm of philanthropy. She founded the Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai, oversees the Reliance Foundation, and is India's first female member of the International Olympic Committee.

Her soon-to-be husband, Piramal, 33, is the executive director of the Piramal Group, a business conglomerate founded by his father, Ajay Piramal. The elder Piramal has an estimated net worth of $US4.2 billion ($5.8 billion), according to Forbes, making him the 24th wealthiest person in India.

Anand Piramal has degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard. He founded Piramal Realty and Piramal Swasthya, a rural health-care initiative. The Ambani and Piramal families are longtime friends, reported the India Times, and the bride and groom have known each other since childhood.

Beyoncé's weekend performance was the culmination of two days of celebrations as part of the couple's wedding sangeet, a traditional party that takes place in the days leading up to the formal wedding ceremony.

Before Beyoncé stole the show, eyes were on Clinton and another former secretary of state, John F. Kerry – both of whom danced the bhangra, a Punjabi folk dance, on stage with the Ambani family, according to India Today.

The festivities in Udaipur ended with the weekend, and guests will head to Mumbai for the wedding, which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday at Antilia, the Ambani family home that has a staff of 600 people, six floors of parking, and can withstand an earthquake of eight on the Richter scale.

Rio Ferdinand reveals what Christmas is really like with Kate Wright and says they watch TV in their PJs like everyone else

The former footballer, 40, says the family likes to chill out over the Festive period – and they spend it in their pyjamas like everyone else.

Speaking on an ad for BT, he said: "At Christmastime… you're just chilling.

"Now I've retired, I indulge. I'd love to sit here and say I'm in charge of the remote.

"But Kate and the kids do take control.

"Being at home with the family… quality time. All cosy, in our pyjamas, around the TV – can't beat it."

Queen Elizabeth II might eat close to the same thing every day, but the rest of her family are a bunch of foodies. And while Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle tend to stick to healthy diets, the same can’t be said for their other halves, Prince William and Prince Harry. The princes allegedly have quite the sweet tooth. What are Prince William and Harry’s favorite desserts? Find out, ahead.

Prince William and Harry’s favorite desserts

The Duke of Cambridge and his brother, the Duke of Sussex love a sweet treat from time-to-time. And, like their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II — who allegedly never leaves home without a slice of cake in her purse — they have a bit of a sweet tooth. And, Prince William and Harry’s favorite desserts typically fall under the cake category and they are allegedly major fans of Caramel Banana Cake. Find out how to make the recipe, plus other desserts Prince William and Harry love, ahead.

Caramel Banana Cake

According to former palace chef, Darren McGrady, the princes love to indulge on a slide of Caramel Banana Cake (fun fact: Banana is one of Prince Harry’s favorite dessert flavors). Here’s how to make a Buckingham Palace-approved version:

  • ¾ cups of light brown sugar
  • ½ cup of butter (plus 2 tsp for greasing)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 3 small mashed bananas (about 1 cup)
  • 1 ½ self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup of sour cream
  • 1 tsp of baking soda

  • 1 cup of light brown sugar
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup sour cream

1. Start by preheating the oven to 350ºF and greasing a 9 ½ x 13 sheet pan

2. Cream the bugger and sugar with an electric mixer until it reaches a light and fluffy texture. Then, add in the banana mash and eggs and beat together.

3. Pour in the flour, baking soda, milk, sour cream, and vanilla extract and continue mixing until there are no lumps and the batter reaches a nice, smooth consistency.

4. Add the mixture to the sheet pan and bake on the center rack for 40 minutes (or until cooked all the way through).

5. Let the cake cool while you prepare the frosting.

6. To make the frosting, simply melt the butter and sugar in a pan and stir (make sure it doesn’t boil) for around 2 minutes. Add in the sour cream and bring to a boil.

7. Remove the mixture from heat and mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract.

8. Let the frosting cool and thicken before frosting the cake.

9. Cut into 24 slices and serve.

Sticky Toffee Pudding

In addition to the caramel banana cake, Prince William is a big fan of Sticky Toffee Pudding. Traditionally served during the holidays, the Duke of Cambridge (and his wife, Kate Middleton) has a hard time saying no when faced with the must-try dessert.

Chocolate Biscuit Cake

While Prince Harry seemingly has one favorite dessert (the caramel banana cake), Prince William apparently loves ALL of the desserts. In addition to the banana cake and Sticky Toffee Pudding, the Duke of Cambridge also allegedly loves his grandmother’s favorite dessert, Chocolate Biscuit Cake. According to reports, he chose this family recipe as his groom’s cake at his royal wedding in 2011.

Banana Flan and Banana Ice Cream

Today, Prince Harry typically sticks to his beloved Caramel Banana Cake. But, when he was young, McGrady says he would eat banana flavored anything. Two of Prince Harry’s favorite desserts to indulge in as a young boy were banana flan and banana ice cream.

He got his first break as a regular comedian/panellist on the BBC Radio 4 show Loose Ends in the early 1990s.

But he rose to fame on TV after winning an award for being a stand-in host on a Channel 5 late-night talk show hosted by Jack Docherty.

The production company was sold to ITV in 2012 in a £17million deal and lists Norton as a creditor.

Since 2014, Graham has also earned a pretty penny by selling his own wine under the brand name GN.

Is Graham married?

Graham is currently single and has never been married.

What is James Comey's net worth, why was he fired by Donald Trump and who's his wife?

Here's the lowdown on James Comey who authored a memoir titled 'A Higher Loyalty' earlier this year.

What does James Comey say in his new book?

Comey’s book, A Higher Loyalty, out next Tuesday, is published 11 months after he was fired by Trump.

Comey’s dismissal triggered the appointment of Robert Mueller to oversee the investigation into Russian election meddling

Under-fire Trump has long denied any collusion and has called the high-profile investigation a “witch-hunt”.

In Comey’s memoirs, obtained by the Guardian, the former FBI chief describes his first trip to Trump Tower in January 2017.

He was called in to brief the then president-elect about the so-called dirty dossier on his links to Russia compiled by the former British spy Christopher Steele.

Towering 6ft 6ins Comey writes Trump “appeared shorter than he seemed on a debate stage with Hillary Clinton”.

He adds: “His face appeared slightly orange, with bright white half-moons under his eyes where I assume he placed small tanning goggles."

Comey also mentions Trump's "impressively coiffed, bright blond hair."

He reportedly writes: "I remember wondering how long it must take him in the morning to get that done.”

Comey, who likens Trump’s presidency to a “forest fire”, repeatedly in the 304-page book also paints Trump as a mafia-style boss.

What has the President said about Comey?

Donald Trump labelled Comey a "leaker & liar" in response to the former FBI director's claims in his upcoming book.

According to A Higher Loyalty, the President wanted Comey to help him prove to the First Lady that he hadn’t paid Russian hookers to urinate on a hotel bed.

Trump tweeted: "James Comey is a proven LEAKER & LIAR.

"Virtually everyone in Washington thought he should be fired for the terrible job he did-until he was, in fact, fired.

"He leaked CLASSIFIED information, for which he should be prosecuted.

"He lied to Congress under OATH. He is a weak and….untruthful slime ball who was, as time has proven, a terrible Director of the FBI."

What is his net worth?

When Barack Obama nominated him as FBI director in 2013, Comey disclosed his net worth as more than £8 million in documents filed with the Senate Judiciary Committee during the confirmation process.

That figure came from a £2.5 million payout he was slated to receive from Bridgewater Associates, the hedge fund he worked for at the time as general counsel.

According to the Centre for Responsive Politics, Comey earned about $6 million during his last year at Bridgewater.

The £8 million figure also included a £2.5 million valuation for the house he shared with his wife and family in Westport, Connecticut, which sold for £2 million last year.

Why did Donald Trump fire James Comey?

Donald Trump has fired FBI director James Comey who was investigating alleged links between the Trump campaign and Russia.

The administration says Comey was sacked over his handling of the inquiry into Hillary Clinton's emails.

In a letter to Mr Comey, Mr Trump said the firing was necessary to restore "public trust and confidence" in the FBI.

But the sudden sacking of the nation's most senior law enforcement official outraged Democrats who said the White House was interfering in the inquiry into links with Russia.

Under Comey's leadership, the FBI concluded that Russian President Vladimir Putin had approved a multi-faceted campaign to tilt the vote in Trump's favour, according to reports.

Trump's decision to fire the FBI director is virtually unprecedented, only one director has previously been fired in the bureau's century-long history.

In a letter circulated by the White House, Trump told Comey: "You are hereby terminated and removed from office, effective immediately.

"It is essential that we find new leadership for the FBI that restores public trust and confidence in its vital law enforcement mission."

Trump also used the letter to try to distance himself from the ever-deepening scandal over Russia's involvement in the election.

The White House said the search for a new FBI director was to begin right away.

FBI directors are appointed for a single 10-year term. The 56-year-old Comey, who is popular among rank-and-file agents, was appointed four years ago.

What did Comey say in his goodbye letter?

The former FBI chief in a letter to colleagues and friends refused to be drawn on the circumstances of his sacking.

“I have long believed that a President can fire an FBI Director for any reason, or for no reason at all," he wrote.

"I'm not going to spend time on the decision or the way it was executed.

"I hope you won't either. It is done and I will be fine."

The former lawyer, appointed by Barack Obama in September 2013, praised the FBI's work.

He added: "I have said to you before that, in times of turbulence, the American people should see the FBI as a rock of competence, honesty, and independence."

What happens next if Theresa May cancels next week's Brexit vote in Parliament?

Here's what could happen if the PM chooses to back down and not hold the vote.

Could Theresa May cancel the vote?

The Sun first revealed the Government had secretly discussed pulling next Tuesday’s crucial vote on the Brexit deal because the parliamentary arithmetic was stacked against the PM.
Former PM Tony Blair told Westminster journalists: “I don’t personally think it is very sensible just to plunge along and be defeated very heavily. What does that tell you?”
He added: “I don’t see what the point is in going down to a huge defeat.”
Instead he said the PM must “understand” that she can’t get a majority of MPs to back a single Brexit plan and the only other option is to hold a second referendum to settle the issue “for a generation”.
Mr Blair blasted Mrs May for trying to sell a deal that was “half-in, half-out”, declaring: “Do Brexit or don’t”. And mocking his famous moto, he said: “this time there is no acceptable third way.”

What would happen in the vote was cancelled?

Theresa May has rejected pleas from jittery senior Tories for a delay in the crunch Commons vote on her Brexit deal.

A string of ministers and backbenchers pressed the Prime Minister to postpone the so-called "meaningful vote" in Parliament scheduled for next Tuesday on the agreement with Brussels in the face of a mass rebellion.

But May and her allies insisted the division will go ahead next week and vowed to continue their attempt to win over dozens of rebel Tory MPs.

A Downing Street spokeswoman said: "The vote is happening on Tuesday."

What has the Tory party said about postponing the vote?

Sir Graham Brady, chairman of the 1922 Committee of Tory backbenchers, publicly urged the Prime Minister to put off the vote until the party row over the so-called Northern Ireland backstop could be resolved.
"I think the most important thing is to have clarity about how we might remove ourselves from a backstop if we were to enter into one in the future," Sir Graham said.
"It's having the answer to that question of substance that is most important, not the timing, so if that question can be answered in the course of the next few days then all well and good.
"If it can't then I certainly would welcome the vote being deferred until such time as we can answer that question."
Amid growing speculation about the looming vote, several Cabinet ministers met the Prime Minister in Downing Street to discuss the crisis over the parliamentary vote.

Philip Hammond, Michael Gove, Amber Rudd, Andrea Leadsom and Liam Fox were among ministers seen going into Number 10.
Other sources said pro-Brussels ministers including Mr Hammond, Justice Secretary David Gauke and Business Secretary Greg Clark told Mrs May they could not support the country quitting the EU without a deal.
After the meeting, a Downing Street spokeswoman said: "The Prime Minister has been meeting her colleagues. She meets and talks to her colleagues regularly and this is part of that."

Adam McKay: What Is the 'Big Short' and 'Vice' Director Worth?

Will Ferrell and Adam McKay speak onstage during the 22nd Annual Producers Guild Awards in 2011. | Kevin Winter/Getty Images for Producers Guild

If you needed an example of a bulletproof career in Hollywood, Adam McKay might be the guy to point out. Over the years, McKay’s string of hits as writer, director, and producer — in many cases, all three — would qualify him the most recession-proof in the film industry.

Here’s the other thing: McKay has gotten better with age. While actors in town can rarely make the same boast, his ability to deliver excellence in film and television from behind the scenes guarantees him a seat near the head of the table for the foreseeable future. (McKay’s partnership with longtime collaborator Will Ferrell doesn’t hurt, either.)

By some measures, you could say McKay hit a high-water mark with The Big Short in 2015. The following year, he collected an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay and kept on moving. But he might have an even bigger 2019 up ahead. Here’s a look at McKay’s projects and his estimated (and still growing) net worth.

From SNL to Talladega Nights, Succession, and Vice

When McKay hoped to join Saturday Night Live in the mid-1990s, he planned to become a cast member. At that point, his background was in stand-up comedy and improv. However, he ended up landing a job as a writer, and it was the same day Ferrell joined the cast. By 1997, he had worked his way up to head writer at SNL.

In 2004, McKay made his feature film debut with Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy with Ferrell, by then a close friend from their time at SNL. Two years later, Ferrell and McKay formed Gary Sanchez Productions and went on an amazing filmmaking run that continues to this day.

Talladega Nights, Eastbound & DownThe Other Guys, Daddy’s HomeSuccessionThe Big Short all came from the Gary Sanchez shop, with McKay writing and directing them all. (In the case of the HBO shows, he served as producer, writer and director on multiple episodes but not all.) Drunk History and the Funny or Die were in there, too.

These days, with a screenwriting Oscar and $133 million in gross receipts on The Big Short (on a $28 million budget) under his belt, you could imagine McKay could do anything he wanted next. The film  he made — Vice, starring Christian Bale and Sam Rockwell — opens Christmas Day. It’s already garnered a boatload of awards nominations, including two (writing and directing) for McKay.

Net worth estimated at $40-60 million

Back in 2013, Celebrity New Worth estimated McKay’s fortune at $40 million. Looking back to that moment — and you can, because the number was never updated — it’s easy to feel like a character from Back to the Future. The writer couldn’t have known that successes like Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters ($226 million), Get Hard ($111 million), Daddy’s Home ($243 million), and The Big Short were around the corner.

Looking at writing credits alone, McKay’s films have grossed about $1.4 billion. You can add another $1 billion for pictures he produced. Did we mention McKay also acts? He has 15 credits under that column as well, though he last appeared on film as Dirty Mike in The Other Guys.

In brief, if someone told us McKay’s net worth was well over $60 million, we’d have to believe them. For now, that high range of the estimate will have to do.
