Celebs Go Dating viewers spotted a major editing blunder on Tuesday’s episode of the E4 show, after Megan Barton Hanson’s hair changed mid-scene.
The Love Island star, who is looking for love on the dating show alongside the likes of Jack Fincham and Lauren Goodger, was chatting to dating agents Paul Carrick Brunson and Anna Williamson when viewers at home noticed something odd.
Megan, 25, was sitting alongside former TOWIE star Lauren as they chatted about an upcoming date, but eagle-eyed viewers were left distracted over the blonde beauty and her hairstyle.
Sporting a low bun accompanied with a floral headband, the reality TV star’s hairstyle appeared to change from a large and voluminous bun, to a tight small bun, with Megan’s hair colour even looking drastically different in-between the scenes. In one clip, Wes Nelson’s ex appeared to have a platinum blonde hairstyle, in comparison to the next scene, where her roots are a much darker brunette.
Megan also sported large hoop earrings in one scene, and small studs in another, seemingly proving the scenes had been filmed across different days.
Viewers at home were left baffled over the scene, branding it “blunder” as they took to Twitter to vent their frustration over Megan’s constantly changing appearance on the show.
One viewer tweeted: “Megan’s hair keeps changing in every scene?! What’s going on? #CelebsGoDating.” A second confused fan wrote: “Is it just me or is Megan Barton Hanson’s hair changing in every scene? She had long hair and now it’s short and brown.”
While a third added: “Megan’s hair has changed twice in this scene! Why did they have to re-film bits I wonder #CelebsGoDating.” Another wrote: “Right Celebs Go Dating the editing on this conversation is terrible. It’s obviously been filmed over several days. Megan's hair and jewellery are completely different.”
It comes after Megan broke down in tears over her relationship with Wes Nelson, claiming they ended after he was “sexting” a fellow Love Island star. Revealing he “promised her kids and marriage”, Megan admitted to feeling “betrayed” in the relationship.
She told the dating agents on the show: “Cracks started to appear. I thought we had this future like he spoke to me about kids and marriage and it came on the radio that he was sexting another Love Island contestant.
“He said they weren't sexting they were talking about cuddling but I just feel completely stupid and betrayed.”
