Trend: Christmas Loot
Our three top seasonal scents start with Penhaligon’s, which features lush notes of mandarin and tuberose. Jean Paul Gaultier mixes artemisia, lavender, mint and cinnamon, while Carolina Herrera’s smells as good as it looks.
Ask Stephanie
Can you recommend a make-up remover that won’t sting my sensitive eyes?
I have tried many different brands of eye make-up removers and one of my all-time favourites is Caudalie Make-up Removing Cleansing Oil (sephora.com.au, $38).

Road Test
This week I try …the Liquid Facelift
The lowdown I am in dire need of a facial refresh, so am heading straight to Dr Joseph Hkeik for his Botox-and-filler facelift. First comes Botox to lift my brows and open up tired eyes.
Two weeks later, elastic dermal fillers are injected into trouble spots where volume has been lost and to improve the definition of my chin and jawline.

Lastly, Dr Hkeik injects my lips with soft filler to make them look plumper and more hydrated.
Pain factor
Slight discomfort is a more accurate description. There is a touch of redness with the filler but this settles within a few hours.
Downtime Each session takes about 45 minutes.

Results The Botox takes a few days to work, but once it does my eyes look more open, my face more relaxed and my complexion fresher. Effects can last for up to 18 months.
