July is officially over, which means the end of 2020 draws nearer (thank God).
But although there's no guarantee that the latter part of the year will grant us any grace, our hope is that our product picks from this month will make your day-to-day beauty regimen a little easier — or at the very least, provide a welcomed distraction from the world falling apart.
So without further adieu, here's everything we enjoyed over the last 31 days, from hair to skin, and makeup.
We hope you love them too!

Glow Recipe Papaya Sorbet Enzyme Cleansing Balm
Call me a rogue beauty editor if you will, but I'm not really a fan of double cleansing. Now more than ever, if I have on any form of makeup, that usually means I was busy during the day. So when it comes to washing it off, I want a one-and-done cleanser that allows me to be in bed exactly five minutes after rinsing it off.
That's why I have to ask Glow Recipe one very serious question: What the hell is your problem?! How dare you make a cleansing balm so good that I actually want to take the time to do a double cleanse before bed? But seriously, I cannot get enough of this nourishing, hydrating balm filled with papaya enzymes and blueberry extracts that doesn't leave my eyes feeling dry or itchy after I've removed all my mascara. It has earned its space as a mainstay on my bathroom counter, and I'm not sure another product will ever take its place.

Briogeo Be Gentle, Be Kind Aloe + Oat Milk Ultra Soothing Fragrance-Free Shampoo
To know me is to know that I do not play when it comes to my hair, which means I am picky with products — especially shampoos. I find most to be extremely drying for my texture, and I can probably count on one hand the amount of shampoos that have received my seal of approval. But when I found out about Briogeo's new fragrance-free collection, I knew Queen Nancy Twine, the brand's founder, wouldn't let me down.
This fragrance-free shampoo gently cleansed both my hair and scalp without stripping either of their natural oils, and it left my curls looking ultra-defined. Plus, no knots! The magic is in the brand's formula, which contains soothing aloe vera, and oat milk, known to be rich in fatty acids and vitamin B. I finished off with the Be Gentle, Be Kind Aloe + Oat Milk Ultra Soothing Fragrance-Free Conditioner to experience the line's full glory.

Carol's Daughter Monoi Intense Repair Inner Strength System
Any hair product that claims to work in one minute automatically gets filed under "a bunch of bologna" in my brain. But I had to put myself in check after using this treatment from Carol's Daughter.
I noticed a stark difference in softness, hydration, and definition after just one use. Now that I've been using it on the regular, I can't imagine having wash day without it. The beautiful blend of monoi oil, tiare gardenia, and coprah coconut oil leaves my hair strong and moisturized, making detangling and styling much easier.

Augustinus Bader The Cream Cleansing Gel
I am a proud member of the cult of Augustinus Bader. The brand’s latest launch is a creamy gel cleanser that’s formulated with Professor Bader’s patented TFC8 technology, a complex that regenerates cells to prevent signs of aging. While it goes on like a runny gel, it turns milky as you massage it onto your damp face. Once it's rinsed off, my skin feels clean, not stripped. I love how fresh-faced I look when I use it in the morning, but I really appreciate that the formula is fragrance-free and doesn’t irritate my sensitive, acne-prone skin.

Glytone Hydra Lipid UV Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40+
My quarantine skincare routine has been minimal with a capital M. However, sunscreen is the one product I’ll always apply. With hydrating ingredients like squalane and hyaluronic acid, I skip moisturizer most mornings and just slather on Glytone’s newest mineral sunscreen. Even though it’s a physical SPF, the formula doesn’t leave a white cast and feels weightless on my skin.

Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation
It seems like brands drop new foundations every week, but I always come back to Armani’s Luminous Silk Foundation. It provides just the right amount of coverage I need to conceal my hyperpigmentation during Zoom calls, but has a natural, glowy, second-skin finish. No wonder celebrities like Meghan Markle and makeup artists continue to rave about it 20 years after it first hit shelves.
