‘I feel that he rushed it and I don’t think he used any numbing cream at all so it was agony, very, very painful.
‘When your lips are just increasing by size hour by hour and they literally are going to the full capacity in size and they are starting to split.
‘I was more worried about the long-term effects of it, thinking: “Have I completely destroyed my lips out of vanity?”‘
The mum of one wants her story to urge people to think carefully before getting fillers, and to make sure they do their research to make sure the treatment is done safely.
‘It’s getting very popular and its popularity is growing because of Love Island Culture, Towie and the Kardashians,’ says Lora.
‘You’ve got the Kim Kardashian and everyone is after that fuller, plumper, lip look, as well.
‘There’s always going to be a pressure on young people and more and more because of Love Island.
‘Instagram is huge and you’ve got these ideals of perfection and people want to achieve that look but it’s not real – it’s really not real.
‘I had it through personal choice because it’s what I wanted to have done but people need to think really if it’s what they want to have done.
‘There are people doing it in beauty salons which I totally disagree with as they haven’t got the medical background.’
