Marie’s Crisis — the storied West Village singalong piano bar, where stars are known to stop by and belt out show tunes with the regulars — was home to a holiday bash Thursday night with a head-spinning number of boldface names.
“Princess Beatrice was singing the song ‘You’ll Be Back’ from ‘Hamilton’ with the pianist,” said a gobsmacked source, pointing out, “She’s the great, great, great (how many?) granddaughter of King George III, who sings the song in ‘Hamilton.’”
Also at the holiday party, hosted by Dasha Zhukova and Derek Blasberg, we hear that Sienna Miller was “finally coerced” to sing some songs from her hit show “Cabaret,” which made for “one thrilled piano player.”
Guests included Jake Gyllenhaal, Jessica Chastain, Chloë Sevigny, Mark Ronson, Tory Burch, Courtney Love, Mary-Kate Olsen, Stavros Niarchos III and Lorne Michaels, as well as Barry Diller and Ron Meyer, who arrived from the opening of Broadway’s “To Kill a Mockingbird.”
A source said the rollicking space isn’t often closed for a private party.
We’ve reported that regulars at the bar include Jimmy Fallon, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Darren Criss.
