An Insider Just Compared Jennifer Garner's New Relationship to Her Ex Ben Affleck and J.Lo’s Romance

An insider recently dished out major intel on Jennifer Garner and John Miller’s relationship. TL;DR: If it could be summed up in one word, it would be “different,” which…fair! But let’s get into the details, shall we?

The source spoke with Us Weekly and said, “[Jennifer] loves how little he cares for the limelight or the whole Hollywood scenester stuff…very different from Ben and J. Lo’s relationship in that way. You’ll never see them ham it up for the cameras or fixate about what events to attend together, it’s just not their style.” Okay, okay, noted!

The source also added that the actor and businessman are “happy being a regular, under-the-radar couple and don’t need anyone else’s validation to know they’re meant to be together. That’s not to say they’re taking digs against others, it’s just not them.”

A refresher: Jen and Ben split in 2015 after 10 years of marriage and finalized their divorce in October 2018. Later that month, a source revealed to Us Weekly that Jen was already in a new ‘ship with John, whom she would go on to briefly split from in August 2020 (he apparently wanted to get married; she wasn’t ready) before the couple reconciled in May 2021. Got it? Perf!

Ben and now-fiancé J.Lo, on the other hand, rekindled their relationship (and got engaged!!) nearly 18 years after first calling their relationship off in 2004. Of the April 2022 proposal, the singer/actor/dancer (you get it) told People, “We’re older now, we’re smarter, we have more experience, we’re at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things. It’s a beautiful outcome that this has happened in this way at this time in our lives where we can really appreciate and celebrate each other and respect each other. We always did, but we have even more of an appreciation because we know that life can take you in different directions.”

Also in April 2022, Jen Garner and John took their own big step: introducing their kids to each other for the first time, which was “casual and easy,” according to an insider 🥺❤️. That’s a win-win if you ask us!
