Ariana Grande does NOT endorse the bullying of her ex-fiance Pete Davidson.
In a message to a fan on Twitter, the thank u, next songstress insisted she would “never want or encourage” any mistreatment toward her ex, who claimed in an Instagram post Monday that he was getting severely bullied online and in public.
After casually mentioning that she hadn’t seen any of the abuse because the Saturday Night Live star “blocked” her on social media, Ari assured the fan she still “deeply” cares about her former fiance.

The fan then shared a screenshot of the private message in a public tweet… which Ari replied to, allowing all her fans to see what she had to say:
Just to make it clear that she was calling out her fans and not just deflecting the blame, the 25-year-old shared a longer statement on her Instagram Stories Monday, telling her followers to “please be gentler with others.”
In a statement put up alongside Pete’s original post, Ari insisted that she cared “deeply about ete and his health,” writing:
“I know u already know this but i feel i need to remind my fans to please be gentler with others. I really don’t endorse anything but forgiveness and positivity. i care deeply about pete and his health. I’m asking you to please be gentler with others, even on the internet. i’ve learned thru my own mistakes not to be reactive on socials so i do understand. but you truly don’t know what anybody is experiencing ever. regardless of what they choose to display on social media or how they may appear in public. i can promise u that. So please let whatever point you’re trying to make go. I will always have irrevocable love for him and if you’ve gotten any other impression from my recent work, you might have missed the point.”
Thank U for the clarification, gurl.
Do U think Ariana properly called out her fans here?
