Brad Pitt is reportedly spending his first Christmas with his kids without a monitor following his split from Angelina Jolie.
The actor, who shares six children with his ex-wife, will spend Christmas Eve with three of the kids – Shiloh, 13, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 11.
A source said he’s ‘hoping they’ll want to spend the night but he’s really just looking forward to Christmas Eve with them.’
The Insider added to Us Weekly that he’s ‘not expecting’ his daughter Zahara, 14, to attend, and Maddox, 18, and Pax, 16 won’t be there either.
According to the site, Maddox hasn’t spoken to his dad since he split from Angelina in 2016, with the pair allegedly getting into an altercation on a private jet to LA.
The alleged incident is reportedly the reason Angelina filed for divorce, with the pair’s son now attending university in South Korea.
Angelina and Brad married in August 2014 after nearly 12 years together, but split in September 2016 due to irreconcilable differences.
Despite going their separate ways more than three years ago, the pair struggled to finalise their divorce, asking the court for more time to allow them to decide how to split their assets in October.
Since his split from Angelina, Brad has faced romance rumours left, right and centre – however, he recently set the record straight.
‘I don’t go out of my way to avoid [press stories]; I just don’t seek it out,’ the 55-year-old told The New York Times Magazine. ‘I don’t know how many women they’ve said I’ve been dating the last two or three years, and none of it’s true.’
Meanwhile, it’s been reported that Angelina, 44, has been on a few dates, but heading back into the dating world just isn’t a priority for her right now.
‘She isn’t closed to the idea of meeting someone new, but it’s not her main priority,’ a source told Us Weekly.
‘She’s all about focusing on the kids, her job, and cleaning up her messy divorce.’
Once all that’s taken care of, the source added: ‘She’ll get back to the dating scene, without a doubt.’
A rep for Brad declined to comment.
