Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Hudson and Paul Simon will headline a mega-concert to be held in New York’s Central Park in August.
Mayor Bill de Blasio announced the first batch of headliners for the city’s planned “homecoming concert,” marking a weeklong celebration of the city’s reopening.
“Three amazing artists have stepped forward and said they want to be part of the comeback of New York City,” de Blasio said at a news conference on Thursday. “They want to help us do this. And we’re just really appreciative to all three of them.”
The Mayor did not specify the dates for the concert, but more details are expected later.
89-year-old music producer Clive Davis will be producing the mega concert at the Great Lawn.
