Diners’ heads turned at power spot Fresco by Scotto when two bitter rivals broke bread near one another this week.
“Things got a little dicey when real estate developer Charles Kushner was dining and [former New Jersey Gov.] Chris Christie walked into the restaurant,” a spy said.
Christie prosecuted Kushner more than a decade ago when he was a US attorney; Kushner pleaded guilty to 18 counts of tax evasion and other charges.
The source added, “Kushner hasn’t seen Christie since he prosecuted him.”

The source figured, “I guess good food brings everyone together?” There’s no love lost between the two former rivals.
Christie fanned the flames of the controversy earlier this year while promoting his book “Let Me Finish.”
He recounted of the case, which put Kushner behind bars from 2005-06, in a CNN interview on the tome: “I mean, it’s one of the most loathsome, disgusting crimes that I prosecuted.”
