Coronation Street has seen countless relationships over the years which every now and then spill over into the real world.
Cast members have been known to fall for each other while acting in the ITV soap but unfortunately their romances can produce as much drama as the storylines they act out.
Here is a look at some of those that were looking for love away from the camera but it didn't quite work out in the long run.
Tina O'Brien and Ryan Thomas
Tina and Ryan are one of the soap's longest-lasting off-screen romances, with their relationship running from 2003 to 2009.
They welcomed a daughter, Scarlett, in 2008 but they split when she was only 12 months old.
Tina has since spoken about the crippling postnatal depression she suffered at the time, revealing in an Instagram post: "I had very bad post natal depression even looking at the pic on the left reminds me how bad it was and that makes me so sad.
"I wish I’d had the confidence to ask for help. Life felt pretty dark for a little while."
Tina has since found love with Adam Crofts, marrying him on New Year's Eve, while Ryan is now dating TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh after meeting her on Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls in 2017.
Lucy-Jo Hudson and Alan Halsall
Alan and Lucy-Jo met on the set in 2005 and after a few years of dating, tied the knot in 2009.
They had a daughter, Sienna-Rae, in 2014 but two years later they announced that they were separating.
A few months later they gave it another go but it wasn't to be and they divorced last year.
They do not seem to have hooked up with anyone new, though Alan has spent time since the split in losing weight and having a hair transplant.
Rob Mallard and Daniel Brocklebank
There was much excitement when Rob and Daniel, who play Daniel Osbourne and vicar Billy respectively, confirmed their romance in 2017.
Unfortunately, it didn't last more than two months, with Rob feeling viewers would be confused by his straight role in the soap and his relationship with Daniel off-screen.
Daniel has had his heartbroken again since, splitting from his boyfriend, former Mr Gay UK Stuart Hatton, earlier this year.
To help with the pain, Daniel turned to a rescue puppy, while it doesn't seem Rob has found a new man in his life.
Nicola Thorp and Charlie De Melo
Nicola Thorp, 30, and Charlie de Melo, 28, were friends for 10 years before deciding to take it a step further.
They grew closer while working on the ITV soap together and decided to explore their relationship futher.
Unfortunately, their romance was over 10 months later, calling it quits just before Christmas.
They have both gone back to the single life since.
