After a video surfaces showing a female fan rejecting his attempt to kiss her, the ‘Rockstar’ hitmaker claims that there ‘ain’t no kissin goin’ on’ with his fans.
AceShowbiz – DaBaby has shared his side of the story after he’s clowned over a clip of his embarrassing interaction with some of his fans. The rapper has spoken up after a viral video shows him being rejected by a female fan whom he tried to kiss.
The interaction happened several weeks ago at his show in Las Vegas. In the clip, the 30-year-old was swarmed by a group of women who were waiting for him outside a venue. He then locked eyes with one of the girls at the front of the group.
DaBaby later grabbed the woman by the neck and leaned in as if he’s trying to kiss her, but the woman rejected it. He smiled before attempting to kiss her for the second time, but the fan was pretty sure that she didn’t want it.
After the video went viral, social media users trolled him for getting curved by the fan. “WHAT IS WRONG WITH DABABY,” one user tweeted alongside a hilarious Spongebob meme. Another wrote, “He definitely was forcing it lol better stop that ish that’s how you get canceled #DaBaby#curved.”
DaBaby, however, claimed that’s not what happened, saying that he wasn’t attempting to kiss anyone. “Y’all go on head man (laughing emoji),” he posted on his Instagram Story. “Me and my booboos love each other to death but ain’t no kissin goin’ on (crossing arms emoji).”
The “Intro” rhymer also jumped to the comment section of The Shade Room to clarify that the fan rejected his kiss because he had already kissed another woman in the crowd. He penned, “I’m sorry bae,” followed by another message which read, “Bae was upset that I blew a kiss at her lil buddy first.”
This isn’t the only time DaBaby had an awkward interaction with his fans. Earlier this month, he faced backlash after urging female audience at his show to take off their tops. “I don’t discriminate,” he allegedly said when performing at Drai’s Beach Club in Las Vegas on April 2, “Pull your titties out if you love DaBaby.”
