Dancing On Ice star Siva Kaneswaran has had to pull out of his skate on this weekend's show, it has been confirmed.
The Wanted singer has contracted a bug leaving him unable to take to the ice, but will return next week.
Confirming the news, Siva has admitted he is "gutted" he won't be dancing but will be watching on.
In an official statement, Siva said: "I'm gutted that I won't be performing this weekend but I picked up a bug earlier in the week which I haven’t been able to shake so I need to rest and get myself better.
"Good luck to all the contestants this weekend – I'm looking forward to watching everyone's performances!"
A Dancing on Ice spokesperson added to OK!: "Due to illness Siva will not skate in this weekend's show. We look forward to welcoming him back next weekend."
Last week Siva left viewers in tears after he dedicated his danced to his late father.
Dancing The Waltz to Three Times a Lady by Commodores alongside his dance partner Klabera Komini, Siva revealed the special reason behind his choice after last week marked the anniversary of his death.
"It means a lot to me and my family, it's the first memory of music I ever had and it was of my dad," he began.
"We used to sit and listen to Lionel Richie on vinyl for hours, because he loved Lionel Richie, we did."
He added: "I miss him every year more and more. This is a way for me to express how much I love him and how much my whole family did. This one's for you daddy.
The pair got 30 for the routine, and viewers took to Twitter to praise the star.
"Siva's dance was so so beautiful. Such a lovely man as well, he's done his dad proud," said one.
While another added: "Wow! Loved Siva and Klabera's routine. A lovely song and a lovely performance to match. His posture and way of holding himself is amazing. I agree with the tender and masculine feedback."
