Deadpool appears to have unofficially entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In a new trailer reaction video posted to actor Ryan Reynolds’s Twitter today (July 13), the Merc with a Mouth welcomes the rock creature known as Korg onto his sofa, who fans will recognise from Thor: Ragnarok.
Korg, who also made an appearance in Avengers: Endgame, is played by writer/director/actor Taika Waititi.

There are layers to this comedy routine, though, as the pair are dissecting the trailer footage for upcoming movie Free Guy, which stars both Reynolds and Waititi.
“If you include Deadpool’s cocaine rider, this is the most expensive reaction video ever made,” Ryan Reynolds captioned his tweet, alongside the video which saw Deadpool introduce his trailer reaction series ‘Deadpool Maximum Reaction’.
After reminding viewers to follow and subscribe and following a quick recap of last week’s Cruella trailer reaction, Deadpool introduced this week’s guest reactor, Korg.
“This is Korg who was not my first choice,” Deadpool explained, before adding: “But apparently everyone else was too busy over on Disney Plus.”
