Emily Andrea has praised Anne and Linda Nolan for their bravery, after they revealed their cancer diagnoses.

Writing in her OK! magazine column, Peter Andre’s wife said she hopes their story encourages people to get any symptoms they are worried about checked by their doctor, despite the coronavirus pandemic.

Mum-of-two Emily wrote: “It was so sad to read that Anne and Linda Nolan discovered their cancer diagnoses within half an hour of each other.

“Anne was previously treated for breast cancer in 2000, while Linda was previously diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006 and secondary cancer on her pelvis in 2017.

“It is incredibly unlucky for them both to be going through something like this and I send all my love to the whole family. They lost their sister Bernie to breast cancer, which also spread to her brain, lungs, liver and bones in 2013.

“Many people have delayed getting worrying symptoms checked because of coronavirus, but hopefully this story will encourage them to go to their GP.”
