Peter Andre's wife Emily Andrea insisted that while fans may think their son Theo is a mini Pete, the youngster – who just turned five – doesn't take after his father when it comes to taking centre stage.
To celebrate his birthday, little Theo enjoyed a day of dressing up as one of his favourite film characters and fans soon pointed out that the pic suggested Theo would follow in his dad's showbiz footsteps.
But writing in her latest column, Emily explained: "I shared a picture on Instagram of him dressed up in his Greatest Showman outfit holding a microphone and lots of people were saying he’s a mini Pete.
"Theo is actually quite shy and he doesn’t quite have the confidence that Pete does when it comes to performing."
Pete's eldest children though, look set to move into the entertainment industry.
Theo's elder half-brother Junior had plenty to celebrate in August when it was revealed that he had signed a major recording contract.
Meanwhile, Princess has proved on social media that she loves the limelight.
But when it comes to the duo's younger half-siblings, Emily reckons they currently have more in common with their mum, who has carved a career in medicine, not showbiz.
"Obviously I have no idea what he’ll do in the future, but both he and Millie are quite shy like me," Emily explained, adding that she's crossing her fingers for them to they inherit some of the confidence that comes with performing.
She continued: "I’m really hoping they can take some of Pete’s confidence with things like public speaking, I find things like that really nerve-wracking."
Emily went on to explain that while the family may be famous, they celebrated Theo's birthday just like millions of other families – with a cake and soft play!
"Theo had a lovely time for his fifth birthday," said NHS doctor Emily. "We had a family dinner and I made him a chocolate cake for after school. Whenever it’s one of the kids’ birthdays I always do a trail of balloons leading from their room to their presents, so when they wake up they get all excited.
"We don’t tend to go over the top with gifts so we just got him a few bits and bobs like K’Nex, arts and crafts and an Elmer The Patchwork Elephant soft toy. He is absolutely obsessed with Elmer and every single night he listens to the audio book to send him off to sleep."
"He also had a party at a soft play with a few of his friends. Soft play parties are always popular with kids and parents – the kids love it and are fully entertained for the full two hours, which gives the parents a bit of free time!"
