Emily Andrea says Geordie Shore star Chloe Ferry shouldn’t be on a diet if she’s a healthy weight

“Geordie Shore sensation Chloe Ferry has revealed she is eating 1,300 calories a day after putting on weight following breast reduction surgery,” wrote Emily Andrea in her weekly OK! column.

Chloe went under the knife for a breast reduction earlier this month and recently revealed the results of her surgery in a skin tight dress.

Chloe opened up about trolls calling her “fat”when she revealed her two-stone weight loss transformation earlier this year.

Emily pointed out that “Chloe has had cosmetic surgery procedures and has admitted that they have been to boost her confidence.”

The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant revealed that she wanted “a quick fix and turned to surgery” in the hope that it’d make all the nasty comments vanish overnight.

“This couldn’t have been further from the truth! In fact they increased!” she said.

“More fat comments, more about the way I looked. It eventually made me dread posting a photo because of all the trolls out there."

So, when Chloe revealed she’d managed to lose weight after her breast reduction with a mix of healthy eating and exercise, she finished her statement saying that she’s “finally feeling great.”


But the reality star “has been criticised for her low-calorie intake,” Emily points out. But the OK! columnist adds that “it’s easy to underestimate the effect being judged has on young women.”

Chloe admitted that “the negative comments became the driving factor to push me harder.”

"Put yourself in my shoes,” she pleaded. “Imagine opening your Instagram to thousands of comments about being fat. I would not wish this on anyone."

“I feel sad that she feels this way and I think she looks great,” declared Emily.

“She shouldn’t be on a diet if she is a healthy weight,” explained the junior doctor, “but it’s easy to say someone shouldn’t be doing something without knowing the full story.”

When Chloe revealed her body transformation she stated that her diet and exercise regimes were a “lifestyle choice.”

She continued: “I started to go to the gym and looking after my body. For me, it was my own little escape time, a break from the negativity that social media was bringing to my life.”

Emily finished by explaining that: “reducing your calorie intake can be an effective way to lose weight.”

However, she emphasised to readers that “you should ensure you’re eating a healthy, balanced diet and exercising if you can.”
