Ferne McCann finds love with secret boyfriend after ex is jailed for acid attack

Ferne McCann has revealed how she has found love with a secret boyfriend after her ex was jailed for an acid attack which injured 22 people.

Arthur Collins was jailed for 20 years in December 2017 after he sprayed acid over a dancefloor in a packed nightclub in east London.

He was caged just six seeks after Ferne had given birth to their daughter Sunday and she was left to bring up their daughter alone.

The former Towie star has now found love with a mystery man and said the pair are taking it slow.

Ferne, 29, told The Sun : “There is someone new. It’s still very much in the background and that’s the way I’d like to keep it.

“I want to enjoy it privately and see where it goes, because I feel like whenever I started to see someone in the past, I’ve said, ‘I’m seeing someone, it’s going great’, then it fizzles out.

“So I’m enjoying dating but I won’t be spending Christmas with him. I’ll be with my friends and family.”

She also revealed she would love to have more children and get married – but admitted she is not ready to do that yet.

Ferne once took Sunday, now aged two, to visit her dad in prison and told Collins it would be the last time he would see either of them.

She has now admitted she made a mistake in getting together with Collins.

She said that living as a single parent has helped her realise how rewarding the experience is.

Ferne warned that despite having angelic looks, her daughter is as feisty as she is.

Ferne says: “You look at her beautiful little face and think she’s an angel, but the tiniest things can set her off."

Collins went on the run after hurling acid in the club in April 2017.
