Georgia Harrison has shared the real reason behind her The Only Way Is Essex exit.

The 26-year-old reality star enjoyed a brief stint on the popular ITVBe TV show in 2014, when she was just 19 years old.

In a video posted on TikTok, Georgia explained why she left the show when asked about the matter by one of her 382,000 followers.

“TOWIE dropped you? Fgs,” the fan wrote with a nervous emoji.

Talking to the camera, Georgia replied: “Yeah, so this is quite a funny story actually."

“So, I was on TOWIE when I was about 19 and to be fair I was a nightmare," she continued.

“I was always drinking on set. They had to actually cut a couple of my scenes because literally, I was so drunk you couldn’t even understand me.”

During the confession, Georgia went on to reveal that she was also once reprimanded by bosses after drinking alcohol in the morning.

“And once I got called into the office,” she explained. “For getting drunk midday at Thorpe Park.”

“It might have been a bit before midday,” Georgia admitted. “But I was just young and nervous, it is what it is.”

The Love Island star went on to describe how mortified she was after TOWIE bosses asked her to leave the show.

“I was so embarrassed when I got dropped,” she said. “They put it all over the press.”

Georgia also claimed some of her former TOWIE stars were pleased that she was no longer a cast member.

“A lot of people were so happy to see me go,” explained Georgia. “Like a lot of the characters that didn’t like me.”

“And they literally revelled in me getting dropped,” she uncovered. “They revelled in it.”

Georgia then happily reminded fans that things worked out well in the end, as she later appeared on another popular ITV programme.

“Then two years later I went on Love Island,” she cheered, with a raise of her hand. “And I got more followers in two weeks than I would have got in ten years on TOWIE!”

“So there you go guys,” she rounded up. “Everything happens for a reason!”

“Keep faith,” the TV star finished with a smile.
