Gogglebox: Jenny and Lee reveal they've finished filming

Gogglebox stars Jenny Newby and Lee Riley have paid tribute to their co-star Andy Michael after his death was confirmed by Channel 4 on Friday. The original cast member is the third star of the show to have died this year.
Jenny and Lee, who joined the programme in the fourth series back in 2014, took to Twitter following the sad news.
Alongside a picture of the retired hotelier, they wrote: “One of the original cast members of Gogglebox our deepest condolences to Carolyne and family such a s*** couple of weeks for all our Gogglebox families RIP Andy x.”
Many took to the comments section of the post to pay tribute to the TV star.
“Such sad sad news. Such a lovely man and loved them on the show,” one follower wrote.
“No no no. Loved watching Andy, his family so intelligent, witty, funny and compassionate. So young, so charming, so sorely missed.”
“Rest In Peace Andy. God Bless the family I will light a candle. God Bless Family,”(sic) another added.
“I adored him. His family are so sweet. Sending my love to his family,” a third user added.
Andy died following a short illness last weekend, with his family by his side.
The official Gogglebox Twitter account confirmed the news on Friday.
“We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Gogglebox star Andy Michael at the age of 61 following a short illness.
“Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
“Andy will be truly missed by the entire Gogglebox family, cast and crew,” their statement read.

Just four days earlier, it was revealed that fellow Gogglebox star Mary Cook had died.
The 92-year-old great-grandmother died in hospital surrounded by family.
Jenny and Lee also paid tribute to the witty star, who joined the cast of the Channel 4 show back in 2016.
On Twitter, in view of their 225,700 followers, they wrote: “Our heartfelt sympathy to Mary’s family, Marina, friends and the Gogglebox family’s such a warm colourful character and lovely lady you will be solely missed by all who watched you and loved you RIP Mary.”(sic)
Mary starred on the show alongside her best friend Marina Wingrove.
In June, Gogglebox’s Pete McGarry died of bowel cancer.
The 71-year-old, who graced TV screens with his wife Linda, and sometimes their son George, died at home surrounded by family.
Following his death, Jenny and Lee took to social media to share their heartbreak.
“Sending our love to Linda and family at this sad time our thoughts and prayers are with you RIP Pete.”
