Much has been made of Cheryl Tweedy’s face of late – especially how different she looks after taking a year out of the spotlight to raise toddler son Bear and split from Liam Payne.
But her visage has been celebrated on the 10-year anniversary of this iconic moment when Cheryl gave her bandmate Sarah Harding a seriously sassy side-eye during a Girls Aloud performance.
They and the rest of the band – Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh and Nadine Coyle – were invited on to ITV’s GMTV to perform their single The Loving Kind.
And the rest was history.
As they were performing live to a backing track, inevitably mistakes were made.
Sarah’s solo moment went horribly wrong when she attempted to draw out a note but went totally off-key, singing a completely different version to what the band had practised.
And it didn’t go unnoticed by Cheryl, who was standing next to Sarah when it happened.
Although she tried to keep her composure by continuing to sing, the cameras picked up Cheryl silently admonishing Sarah by flicking her a side-eye.
Fans have been diligently checking in on the clip and this week announced it has been 10 years since the most famous bum note in history.
One tweeted: "Happy 10th Birthday to Sarah Harding’s bum note on GMTV performing The Loving Kind. A special day in history.
"It’s the ten year anniversary of Sarah Harding’s bum note on GMTV. This clip is everything."
Another quipped: "Name a better pop vocal than Ms Sarah Harding. Your fave could never."
And a third joked: "Today is the day huns. God bless you Sarah."
Celebrity Big Brother star Michelle Visage has previously outed herself as a fan of the clip, tweeting in 2014: " THIS. ps. I LIVE FOR SARAH, but Cheryl’s side eye shade is ERRYTHANG."
Happy anniversary! Let us know in the comments how you’re planning to celebrate this joyous occasion.
