‘I’m moving into my cousin Chloe Sims’ house with the twins’, reveals Frankie Essex

Former TOWIE star Frankie Essex gave birth to her twins, whom she shares with boyfriend Luke Love, in June, and has since revealed to the world that they’ve named their little bundles of joy Logan and Luella.

Last week, Frankie shared her go-tos for the twins on a day out, as well as detailing her first social event with the babies, while the week before the mum-of-two recalled how she was left without electricity for several hours just days after bringing Luella and Logan home!

Now, in an exclusive column for OK!, Frankie, 34, will be detailing her life as a new mum-of-two, with this week’s column revealing that she’ll soon be moving in with close pal and fellow TOWIE star, Chloe Sims.

The return of the spin class…

Oh my god, it was really hard. The room didn't have any aircon, so they opened all the doors and the windows. And the bikes were the oldest bikes I think I've ever been on.

I literally forgot how good the music is, you know, like, when you're spinning and the music got me through it. I really, really enjoyed it, and I felt a bit emotional after. It was the adrenaline and the endorphins all mixed together!

The place that I went to is so close to my house that when I came out, I could hear the ice cream van. I’m really glad I've found somewhere that I can just pop to.

A trip to London

So, we got invited to go to Hamleys on Sunday and I said to Luke ‘Should we go?’. We left the house at 9:30am and got there around 10:45am, so we missed the first bit of the event – but they’re only babies anyway, and it was story time and stuff.

It was really nice to go there, and the whole store was empty for influencers and stuff. It was really cool and we got the twins loads of sensory stuff. I didn’t realise how much sensory stuff they had at Hamleys! We got them a bubble machine and loads of bits for tummy time.

My old friend Simon Webb was there with his wife and his little girl, and Georgina Cleverley was there. She used to do TOWIE and she was there with her twins – a little boy and a little girl as well. It was nice to have some twin mum talk!

Smiling babies

Logan and Luella’s little smiles are coming through more often now. They’ll be looking at you and they notice you're there in the room. They’ll be smiling and, they’re not laughing yet, but you know when they open their mouths to laugh? It’s so cute.

They’ve definitely been smiling more lately, which is nice. Every day there’s something new. It’s the little things.

I'll keep on lying next to each other just make them know that they've got each other.

Unexpected hair loss

My hair started falling out, and I was like ‘Oh my god, Luke. Look… it’s coming out in clumps’, so he googled it and apparently it’s like shedding which is common after having a baby. I made him check if I had any bald patches!

I put it on Instagram and most people said about getting tablets and sea kelp and all this, which I got, but one of my friends from Liverpool advised me about some Kerastase shampoo. I bought a bundle right away and I think it was over £100, but they had a deal on for 20% off so I got the whole thing for £98. It included shampoo, conditioner, hair mask and hair serum, and my friend told me to use the serum on my hairline and parting every day for six weeks because when she did it, she really noticed the difference.

It smells lovely, but I have to hide it from Luke because he doesn’t understand things like that and he uses it willy nilly.

Stretch mark saviour

To stop getting stretch marks on my tummy, I used My Expert Midwife. I thought that was really good. But that was like, near where my bump was getting bigger, but the whole pregnancy I usedNivea 48 hour cream. I basically didn’t get any stretch marks, so I would definitely recommend that. And it’s cheap as well!

I literally use that religiously. In the middle of the night if I get up for a wee, I’ll pop some of it on my belly or my love handles – everything.

I’m moving in with Chloe Sims!

We’re building our dream home, and there’s holes in the walls, and the extension is kind of being built now. We’re waiting for the roof to be put on, and then the knock through happens. So, I’m going to move out for a week or two – maybe more – because I won’t have a kitchen. Luke’s going to stay in the house because it’ll be open, and I’m going to move into Chloe Sims’ house. She’s really excited, but I think she’ll change her mind when me and the babies are there. [Chloe’s] like, ‘I’ll do the night feeds!’.

She’s filming her new show soon, so it’ll be funny. She’ll probably be knackered by the time she starts filming!

We went round there on Monday and she changed both the babies. They’d just done a poo and it was so funny. She was like ‘Oh my god, I forgot about this’.

I don’t know how long we’ll stay for as I don’t want to get under Chloe’s feet too much, but I’ll just have to wait and see. It’s the babies and the dust at the house that we’re worried about.
