Fashion lover Sabrina – who recently modelled at London Fashion Week – loved it so much as she bowled over laughing and clapping while Idris, who was also holding a mic, danced beside them.
Earlier in the day, Sabrina wore two custom dresses by Vera Wang; while Idris wore a bespoke suit by British designer Ozwald Boateng.
For the white wedding ceremony Sabrina – who worked in PR when she first met Idris – wore a classic white, off-the-shoulder A-line gown.
That night the bride made a change and swapped her ceremony gown for a V-neck style embroidered dress with pearls and gemstones and finished with couture lace.
BBC radio presenter Maya Jama, who was also in attendance, graced Instagram users with scenes from Saturday’s party while other members of the party seemed to hold off from posting online.
Footage showed guests mingling and dancing to Beyonce’s Love On Top as the new couple in town walked around greeting their loved ones who jetted out to join them.
Vogue UK’s Edward was later seen taking his lip-synching efforts to Bey’s hit love song very seriously as he let his hair down at the bash to play the African drums to the popular pop song.
Who wouldn’t? It’s a Beyonce song at a wedding.
Later on in the night, the DJ at the party opted to play Stormzy’s newly released song Vossi Bop which heavily features Idris in the music video and in the lyrics.
Obviously a huge fan of the song, Idris can be spotted performing lines from the London rapper’s track to the smartphone camera as Sabrina tried to talk to him.
Spotting the camera, the former Miss Vancouver gave up on the conversation and began dancing with her new husband.
Sabrina wore a plain white caped maxi dress as she busted a few moves with Idris who opted for more a casual look wearing white jeans and tee.
The celebration comes after Sabrina was forced to deny she had secretly married Idris earlier in the year.
The Avengers actor called his then-fiancée his ‘wife’ in February and fans took it as ‘confirmation’ that the pair took their vows already.
However, speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk, Sabrina addressed the rumours as she flat out denied any secret nuptials.
‘Our wedding is coming up soon and I’m really looking forward to it,’ she confirmed to us a month before her bridal party held a lavish hen do for her in Utah.
The Pacific Rim actor met his Canadian-Somali beau on the set of The Mountain Between Us in Canada.
While filming with Kate Winslet, Idris caught the eye of Sabrina, and love flourished, with the DJ saying on The Jess Cagle Interview: ‘Falling in love while making a movie about falling in love is pretty special.’
Idris has been married twice before – to Hanne ‘Kim’ Norgaard from 1999 until 2003, and to Sonya Nicole Hanklin in 2006.
He has a 16-year-old daughter, Isan, with ex Kim and a four-year-old son named Winston with former girlfriend Naiyana Garth.
