When it comes to the finer things in life, premiership players aren’t exactly known for their modest budgets.
And when it’s time to celebrate Liverpool footballers’ big life events, there’s one woman they turn to make their parties pop.
Brazilian party planner Suzana Gomez organises extravagant bashes for Liverpool’s famous and wealthy, with many of the Reds players splashing out thousands of her services.
Among the players to use Suzana’s company Dream Parties Decor are midfielders Roberto Firmino and Fabinho.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, mother-of-two Suzana said she’s been organising parties for four years and became introduced to the Liverpool players’ circle last year.
Her first big Premiership job was curating the first birthday party of Fermino’s daughter Bella at Liverpool restaurant Bem Brasil in August 2017.
Suzana created a pink-themed bash for little Bella, with bouquets of pink roses, a towering birthday cake and tables full of sweets and chocolate.
The party was such a hit, she then started being approached by other footballers and their wives, willing to splash the cash on their special occasions.
Earlier this week, she planned a 24th birthday party for WAG Rebeca Tavares – wife of Fabinho – at Bem Brazil, with a rose gold theme.
Rebeca accompanied Fabinho, 25, for a new life in Liverpool after he transferred in a £43.7million deal in the summer.
Meanwhile, the Ferminos have become repeat customers, with the footballer’s wife Larissa Pereira organising a surprise 27th birthday party for Roberto in October.
The theme of the £180,000-a-week footballer player’s birthday was himself – with huge photos of him on the walls and his initials on the cake and other accessories.
Suzana told the Echo: "There’s no one else that does what I do. There’s people who do this kind of business for decorations but they’re all the same – the flower backdrops. It’s not personalised."
She insisted that the Brazilian footballers prefer her flamboyant party planning style because it’s embedded in Brazilian culture.
She added: "It’s just part of our culture, the way we celebrate and do the parties because they know I understand what they want..
"We like to party in Brazil. We are very friendly, we love music as well. It’s for them to get together."
