Justin Timberlake, Jon Bon Jovi, Demi Lovato and Ant Clemons are set to perform during a television special for the night of President-elect Joe Biden‘s inauguration on January 20.
Tom Hanks will host the primetime television event, titled “Celebrating America.” A known Biden supporter, Hanks appeared with the Democratic leader during his virtual fundraisers.
The Presidential Inaugural Committee announced Wednesday that the event will be broadcast live on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and MSNBC along with streaming live on the PIC’s YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Twitch channels at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT.
More acts and celebrities are expected in the 90-minute show, to be produced by Ricky Kirshner.
“This inauguration presents a unique opportunity to spotlight the resilience and spirit of an America United,” PIC CEO Tony Allen said in a statement.
Beyoncé, Kelly Clarkson and James Taylor were among the performers for President Barack Obama‘s inauguration in 2013.
Many of the traditional presidential inauguration festivities have been confined to virtual events in the wake of the pandemic and the security concerns raised by the recent violence on Capitol Hill.
