Katherine Schwarzenegger received lots of congratulatory messages on an Instagram post confirming her nuptials to Chris Pratt, including from her half-brother Joseph Baena.
Baena, 21, is the son of Katherine’s dad, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and his former housekeeper Mildred Baena. The two had a an affair, revealed in 2011, the same year Katherine’s mom, Maria Shriver, filed for divorce.
“Congratulations! ??” Baena commented on a picture of the newlyweds shared to the social media site Sunday. They pair, who became engaged in January, tied the knot Saturday in Montecito, Calif. In matching Instagram posts, they described the day as “the best” as well as “intimate, moving and emotional.”

Yesterday was the best day of our lives! We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love. It was intimate, moving and emotional. We feel so blessed to begin this new chapter of our lives. We are so thankful to our families and our friends who stood with us and grateful to Mr. Giorgio Armani who created a once in a lifetime dress for Katherine to wear and for me, the perfect suit. This morning we feel nothing but blessed.

In April, Katherine caught flack from an Instagram commentor when Baena wasn’t included in a post in honor of National Siblings Day. Katherine shared images with her brothers Patrick, 25, and Christopher, 21, as well as her sister, Christina, 27, when they were young.
She told the critic, addressing the user by handle: “saw in your profile it says ‘god always’. Just wanted to remind you of Gods presence in all of our lives and even in yours as you come spreading hurtful words and judgment.
“He does not judge you or any of us,” she added. “I am praying for you and sending you love not because what you said is okay, but because i believe you need love to heal whatever is causing you to post comments like this. god bless you!”
Arnold and Baena appear to have a good relationship. In late April the “Terminator” actor beamed at his son’s graduation from Pepperdine.
“You have earned all of the celebration and I’m so proud of you. I love you!” the action star shared to Twitter. In a 2017 Instagram post, Arnold called his son “a great training partner,” in a post for his birthday.
“You get stronger and smarter every year and I’m so proud of you. I love you.”
