Katie McGlynn, 28, and her pro dancing partner, Gorka Marquez, 31, had to participate in the dance-off against Nina Wadia and Neil Jones in a bid to remain in the show. The pair were eventually saved by the judges, but sources now claim the soap star is “getting very frustrated”.
The insider said: “She’s a nice girl but quite demanding.
“She doesn’t want to lose and really wasn’t happy about being in the dance off.
“Gorka is very kind and nice and she’s getting very frustrated.
“She thought it would be easier than this and Gorka is a really hard worker,” they claimed to OK! Magazine.
The insider also claimed that Gorka did not want to risk losing his celebrity partner after his previous experiences.
The source explained: “He needs this, he didn’t have a celebrity partner in 2019 and he doesn’t want that to happen again so he’s cracking the whip because he needs her to improve.
“She’s got a busy schedule but needs to put the hours in, Gorka feels like he can’t afford to go out in the early stages after being put back as a main dancer.”
The source also said there were conflicting views within the partnership.

They went on to claim: “He needs her to put the effort in and not have any diva strops.
“She thinks he’s working her too hard and he doesn’t think she’s working hard enough.”
Express.co.uk has contacted Katie and Gorka’s representatives for comment.
The explosive claims come after Gorka hit back at rumours of tension between himself and Katie after the dance-off.
He shared with his Instagram fans two pictures of him and Katie seemingly in high spirits together.
In view of his 662,000 followers, Gorka firstly opened up about his “intense” dance-off experience.
He went on to say of Nina and Neil: “Sorry to see @mr_njonesofficial and @nina.wadia leave, they had so much to give to the show.”
“We’ll keep working hard and giving our best,” he continued.
He concluded: “And to those who think that we aren’t getting on keep thinking it,” followed by thumbs up and crying with laughter emojis.
Katie also shared some pictures with her partner from backstage and showed her appreciation for Gorka.
In the post she branded Gorka the “best partner”.
In response, he chimed in: “Partner!!! I am so proud of you!! LFG THIS WEEK!!”
Gorka’s fiancé Gemma Atkinson also showed her support by writing: “On to the next one! C’mon!”(sic)
