Katie Price’s face-lift video slammed as critics say she’ll do anything for cash

Katie Price has been slammed for a horrifying video in which she talks as a surgeon performs a face-lift on her.

Critics of the former glamour model said she’d do anything for money after the video emerged online.

Some questioned how she could afford the procedure in the first place following her recent bankruptcy scare.

The mum-of-five, who has had a number of cosmetic procedures over the years, is completely awake and talking as a surgeon pulls a skin flap up on the side of her face and performs the procedure.

The video, which is not for the faint hearted, was posted by The Sun and immediately drew criticism.

One person asked: "Is there anything @ KatiePrice won’t film?"

While another said: "Something for her daughters to watch when they are older,. She will do anything for a fee"

One asked: "I thought she’s skint! How does she pay the face-lift surgery ?"

"WTF have I just watched," another posted.

In the gruesome video, Katie slurs her words as she says: "So you know how scared I am of needles? I’m needle-phobic. And obviously they gave me something to calm me down. But I actually can’t feel a thing!"

She continues: "I’m dying to look at what he’s done. It’s amazing!

"So all you women out there who are afraid of being put to sleep and want your face done, this is perfect, and you know I’m squeamish."

A nurse asks Katie if she’s okay as the surgeon works away on her face.

She replies: "Me? I’m perfect! But I’m numb, my face is numb. I haven’t felt a thing. Not one bit of pain.

"I was panicking because I wanted to be put to sleep and I can’t talk properly."

According to the newspaper, the footage was taken in March while Katie underwent corrective surgery at the beclinic in Belgium, with Dr Frank Plovier performing the procedure.

The 40-year-old said: "I asked the nurse in the surgery room to film the procedure as I wanted to show people that this can be done while you are awake and how important it is to go to professional places.

"Although it looks really gruesome it didn’t hurt one bit and it was actually the easiest surgery I have ever had done!"
