A huge change is on the way for Little People, Big World.
And the beloved TLC series is leaning into it… hard.
The cable network revealed a brand new Little People, Big World logo on Facebook this week, placing Matt, Amy, Tori, Zach and even little Jackson front and center.
Which family members are missing?
Molly Roloff, of course, who has chosen to never really play a role on the show.
Jeremy Roloff, who quit the series about two years ago and slammed his relatives as fake and phony and sort of pathetic on the way out. (He has since apologized)
And now also Jeremy and Audrey Roloff, who stunned fans a few months ago when they also chose to walk away from the mega hit.
“After 14 years, over 300 episodes, and 17 seasons, the time has come,” Jeremy said shortly after Season 13 concluded, adding at the time:
“A year ago I made the decision that this season would be our last. It has been an amazing run, and I can’t say thank you enough to all of you who have watched and supported us along the ride.
“We have the most loyal fans on TV and we appreciate every one of you. You are what made doing this so fun.”
He and his wife have since announced a new book and starting a new podcast, so you haven’t exactly seen the last of them.
But you have seen the last of them as regular cast members, paving the way for even more from the other Roloffs mentioned above.
Especially Matt and Amy.
These two have always been the anchor of the series, of course, even all these years after their divorce.
But it sounds, based on a TLC press release and also some quotes from each star, that their relationship will be tested this spring.
“This year, out of any of the other years, everything has changed for me,” Amy recently told People Magazine, adding of boyfriend Chris Marek: “Chris makes me see life in a whole different way.”
Ah, yes, Chris Marek.
And Matt’s girlfriend, Caryn.
Both will be featured prominently on Season 14, which seems to already be upsetting Facebook fans, based on these comments to the logo:
New episodes will premiere on April 2 at 9/8c.
“The Roloff family has always been a beloved part of the fabric here at TLC and we are proud to welcome them back to Tuesday nights,” TLC President and General Manager Howard Lee said in a statement.
“Over the last 14 years, the [Roloff Family] has opened up their lives to our viewers — the joys as well as the heartache.
“We are honored that they continue to let us follow along on their incredible journey.”
A network press release, meanwhile, confirms there will be 10 episodes on Season 14.
Audrey and Jeremy Roloff: Why They REALLY Quit Little People, Big World
It also says that “at the heart of the season lies the fate of Roloff Farms, as Matt and Amy consider if it’s possible to continue running the property together, while their increasingly separate lives and relationships are driving them further apart.”
This has been a long-gestating Internet rumor.
With Matt living part-time in Arizona, might he give up the farm? Might he move away permanently from Oregon?
“I kind of need to be prepared for anything,” Amy says at one point in the following teaser.
What might that mean? And why are we so nervous?!?
