Louise Redknapp’s ex Jamie Redknapp reveals why son’s ’not happy’ with dad Harry

Louise Redknapp’s ex Jamie Redknapp, 45, took to Instagram to give fans an insight into his family holiday in Portugal with his sons Charley, 15, Beau, 10, his dad Harry Redknapp and his mum Sandra.

In view of his one million followers, he took to his Instagram story to share a picture of him alongside the family.

He then uploaded snaps of him back playing football followed by a video of the group dining at a restaurant.

Jamie filmed his son Charley looking over at Harry, who was tucking into a dessert.

He captioned the video: “Charley’s not happy, this big man is eating his sticky toffee pudding.”

Earlier this week, Jamie also shared a picture of him spending time with his youngest son Beau.

The pair smiled for the camera while sat on the sand on a beach.

Jamie captioned the snap: “My boy.”

Louise and Jamie Redknapp divorced back in 2017 after 19 years of marriage.

Since their split, she has reprised her music career and released a new album.

During a recent appearance on daytime show Lorraine, Louise Redknapp opened on why it took her so long to get back into her music.

Speaking to stand-in host Christine Lampard, she said: “My son Charley was like, ‘Are you really going to do this, mum?’ Charley is 15 now.

“They all knew I used to sing, but when they were born I was at home and dad was the one at work.”

“What’s so nice is when I’m doing a show and they want to come and they’re in the front row,” she added.

“Charley brings four or five mates. He’s at that age where he doesn’t go somewhere without some form of a crew.

“Ten-year-old Beau is happy to be sat with me and the band.”

“But that has been the most amazing part of all this. Is having the boys witness what I used to do and what I’m doing now.”

Despite her sons being proud of her career, Louise said her eldest boy was “stressed” after seeing her raunchy music video to Small Talk.

Within the video, Louise writhes around in a backless leotard while dancing with a male actor.

Discussing her son’s reaction on the Sunday Brunch recently, she told hosts Simon Rimmer and Tim Lovejoy: “Now… the older one got a bit stressed when Stretch came out – the first song – because the video was slightly racy.

“He was like, ‘I had to turn all the computers off in IT, mum, because they keep playing it. I’m going to… please never do a video like that again’.”
