Love Island’s Amy Hart took to Instagram to reveal that she was “absolutely gutted” as her grandfather sadly passed away on Monday.
Amy, 27, shared two sweet pictures of herself and her grandfather to her account as she paid tribute to him.
The former air hostess wrote of his passing: “Absolutely gutted, but very grateful that I had 27 years with my amazing Grandad."
Fans commented underneath the pictures with messages of condolences for Amy and her family, as one person wrote: "Sending you love babe so sorry for your loss."
Another wrote: "Sending love to you and your family."
Amy's islander pal Anna Vakili wrote: “So sorry”, while Love Island 2018 star Josh Denzel commented with a praying hands emoji.
Amy had spoken about her grandad’s ill health during the summer, when she left Brighton Pride celebrations early in order to be with him.
She said: “Right everyone, so I had to leave Pride because sadly we thought my granddad wouldn't make it but he's serving comebacks like Take That and he's sitting up and eating ice cream.
"So now I'm on my way back and I'll hopefully see some of you there."
Amy is currently in Ibiza, with the popular star admitting during her holiday that she isn’t “cut out” for the party island.
The reality star shared a video of her laying in bed with her cabin crew friend Annie Warr the morning after partying at O Beach resort pool party.
Amy told her 1.3million followers: “Erm, we’re not cut out for Ibiza, we just keep going…” as she covered her face with her hand and groaned.
She later relaxed by the pool and ordered non-alcoholic cocktails to try and rehydrate after a night of partying with club owner Wayne Lineker at the beach resort.
Amy’s Love Island cast mate, Tommy Fury, 20, was also partying at O Beach on the same day as Amy, but it was believed they steered clear from one another.
Boxer Tommy entered the venue with a “heavy entourage” which, according to The Sun Online, consisted of a security guard, photographer, cameraman and a group of mates.
Tommy enjoyed the VIP area while Amy struggled to get in to the venue and scurried off to make a phone call to get in.
Onlookers said Amy and Tommy weren’t seen speaking to each other at all as they separately made their ways around the poolside party.
Tommy came in second place on Love Island with girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague, who he is still loved-up with.
