Love Island hosts Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling reportedly got engaged in South Africa earlier this year following a romantic proposal.
Presenter Laura, 34, sparked rumours of an engagement when she was spotted walking around London last week with a large diamond ring on her finger.
Sources now claim Iain, 32, popped the question in February during their trip to Cape Town where winter Love Island was being filmed.
An insider told The Sun: ‘They couldn’t be happier. We’re thrilled for them.
‘He’d obviously thought about it for a while, as he designed the ring and yellow’s her favourite colour.
‘Their wedding plans are on hold due to the lockdown but it’s lovely to have a wedding to come.’
It’s said the couple told their family of the exciting news last month.

Laura and Iain, who began dating in 2016, were certainly loved-up during their South African adventure, with the pair enjoying a romantic date at a safari park and cosy lunches.
They’re one of showbiz’s most loved-up couples and Iain previously told Chris Ramsey: ‘I’ve got someone who’s like me, but much, much better. ‘And Laura’s got someone who’s like her, but much worse. I’ve done well out of it, but I’m dead happy because she’s lovely and stuff.’
In recent weeks, the couple have been the most out of a bad situation during the coronavirus lockdown, by enjoying cosy date nights at home and entertaining the masses with their fun TikTok videos.
They’ve certainly been spending more time together recently and began working together this year, as Laura took on the role of presenter for the first series of winter Love Island, after the late Caroline Flack stepped down following her arrest.
