Love Island’s Paige says ‘everything happens for a reason’ after Adam’s arrival

Love Island star Paige Thorne says “everything happens for a reason” as she discusses previous partner Jacques O'Neill ’s exit from the villa and Adam Collard's arrival, on tonight's show.

The 24 year old contestant recently recoupled up with Adam, 26, and she talks about how she feels in her new situation as she discusses possibly developing a new romance with the returned bombshell.

Speaking to close friend Dami Hope in tonight’s episode, Paige explains how she’s open to seeing what happens between them.

She says: “When Jacques was in here, we weren’t exactly the most perfect couple going on – there were some bumps in the road. That’s still not taking away the feelings and connection I had with him for sure.

“Since he’s been gone, I feel like everything happens for a reason. I’m enjoying my time getting to know Adam.”

Happy to see his pal enjoying her time still in the villa, Dami replies: “I’m enjoying seeing you happy. It just seems very natural for you guys. It’s nice to get to know him.”

The Islander asks Paige if she thinks there’s a chance of romance with Adam, to which she responds: “Potential for me personally I would say yes. I don't know what he’s saying…which really infuriates me.”

Dami replies: “He’s only saying good things man. He seems really set on you at this moment in time.”

Will Paige and Adam develop into something more in their coupling?

Meanwhile, tonight the Islanders will be treated to the series’ popular Movie Night.

The infamous event typically sees the villa presented with a series of clips from moments — usually taken from Casa Amor — some Islanders would prefer not be showcased.

During the day, Gemma Owen gets a text which reads: “It’s time to get glam and hit the red carpet as you attend Mad Movies the premiere! #SpillThePopcorn #ITV2andChill.”

Dami, who arguably acted up the most in Casa Amor, admits: “Personally, I know I am starring in this movie!”

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu says to partner in the villa Davide Sanclimenti: “If we pass this, we’re fine."

Davide tells the boys: “Forget nothing, at the end someone will pay the bill.”

The Islanders will take part in a cheeky quiz to earn clips to be played. What movie is set to air exactly with which starring parts?

Viewers will find out as Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and later on ITV Hub.
