Manchester Orchestra recently dropped a new single, “The Way,” from their upcoming album/virtual reality film The Valley Of Vision.
According to a press release, “The Way” “illustrates the journey of losing one’s mind and finding it again.”
When the band announced the new album, which is set to drop this Friday, March 10, they released the album’s lead single, “Capital Karma.”
The album is co-produced by singer Andy Hull and guitarist Robert McDowell. The Valley Of Vision also features contributions from Catherine Marks, Dan Hannon, Jamie Martens, Kyle Metcalfe, and Ethan Gruska, who also plays piano on “Capital Karma.”
Meanwhile, the virtual reality film was directed by Isaac Deitz. It will debut in a “worldwide watch party” on the band’s YouTube channel on March 9.
