Nispey Hussle was in the middle of helping out his just-released inmate pal when he was murdered, according to a report on Wednesday.
The Grammy-nominated rapper was at his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles’ Hyde Park neighborhood on Sunday so the friend could pick out some new clothes, TMZ reported.
But Hussle never told his camp or his security guard about the spur-of-the-moment trip to Marathon.
The ex-con had just been released after serving 20 years behind bars and Hussle wanted to make sure he looked good when he met up with friends and family later that day.
Hussle and his friend were standing in the parking lot when suspected gunman Eric Holder opened fire on them, killing the 33-year-old rapper.
The shooting left the pal and his nephew, who drove him to the store, injured.
Days before he was murdered, Hussle feared he’d be targeted while shooting a new music video — prompting the production crew to beef up security.
