Olivia Munn is opening up about one of her really bad relationships.
During her interview on Catt Sadler‘s Naked podcast, the 38-year-old actress talked about an unhealthy and toxic relationship she was once in.
“We had been in calm waters for a long time, it’s always calm waters,” Olivia opened up without naming her boyfriend. “And then all of a sudden the boat capsized.”
“So, when it capsized, I was still in the emotional place that I had been in for those years, which wasn’t a good place,” Olivia shared. “And, then, when you do go through something like that, you do truly feel worthless.”
Olivia continued: “I think a lot of women and men who are in relationships are like this, where you’re just walking on eggshells, and you’re just happy anytime it’s like you can breathe a little bit, even though you don’t realize that you have a cinder block on your chest the whole time, but you’re taking in little sips of air.”
Olivia then says she credited her mom, her sister, and her friends for helping her get back to her normal self.
“I finally finished telling her how it had been,” Olivia recalled telling her mom about the relationship. “And then I said, ‘But, I think it’s gonna be OK. I think it’s gonna be OK,’ and she just stopped me, and she said, ‘It’s time to let him go. You can’t do this anymore.’”
