Piers Morgan has published private messages he received from Caroline Flack about her public feud with Jameela Jamil.
The Good Morning Britain star said he felt he had to speak out after The Good Place star Jameela spoke about being harassed online.
Piers shared a string of messages Caroline had sent him in an Instagram DM on the evening of October 22, last year.
Caroline wrote to Piers: "Please have pictures…
"I'm struggling with Jameela..
"The hate she aims at me"
Piers tweeted alongside the screenshot: "Jameela Jamil is having a lot to say about online harassment, so in the interests of balance, here is a message Caroline Flack sent me last October after the same Jameela Jamil led an online pile-on against her regarding a new TV show she was doing."
Some people took aim at him for his post.
One replied: "You really haven't learned a single thing from Caroline Flack's death, have you?"
Piers replied: "Actually, what I’ve learned is there are some quite breathtaking hypocrites out there who need to be called out."
Jameela is yet to publicly respond to Piers' tweet, but earlier today, she shared a picture of herself dressed all in black with her head pointed down.
Her cap had "Don't @ me" emblazoned across it and she seconded the message with her caption.
The feud between Jameela and Caroline kicked off in October last year when Jameela blasted a show Caroline was due to present.
The actress and model took to social media to express her disapproval for the Love Island host's new plastic surgery-themed show The Surjury.
The outspoken activist shared a link to a story that called the new Channel 4 programme a "new low for television".
The Surjury sees contestants try to convince a 12-strong jury that they should have some sort of plastic surgery, from nose jobs to boob jobs, with the panel deciding whether or not to let them go through with it.
Expressing her disgust, Jameela tweeted: "Welp. Black Mirror is officially happening guys. It’s here"
But Caroline wouldn't let her get away with it.
She cheekily responded: "Have you managed to see a copy before me ? Please forward .. am desperate to see.."
Jameela has recently been defending herself against accusations that she's lied about her modelling past and about injuries she's sustained.
Caroline tragically died last Saturday.
She was found dead at her London home after taking her own life. She was 40.
