Queens Of The Stone Age have announced plans to release a new limited-edition single for the Christmas season.
On the A-side is “Silent Night” featuring Josh Homme, Australian artist C.W. Stoneking, and Dean Fertita.
On the B-side is “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” featuring Homme, his wife Brody Dalle and their children.
The digital edition will be released on December 7, while the 7″ vinyl edition will be dropped a week later.
Homme’s Sweet Stuff Foundation and Australia’s Support Act, both nonprofit organizations for the welfare of the music community, will benefit from the revenues generated by the sale.
The single was recorded during the band’s tour of Australia in East Fremantle last year.
