Rebekah Vardy branded ‘bully’ by furious I’m A Celeb co-star after interview mention

Iain Lee has slammed Rebekah Vardy after she denied that she bullied him when the pair appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here in 2017.

The 49 year old broadcaster has claimed that she made his time on the show “miserable” after she said in an interview on Wednesday that the ITV show was edited to “look a certain way” and that she had “nothing bad to say about him”.

Rebekah, who this week gave a bombshell interview after losing her Wagatha Christie trial against Coleen Rooney, was accused of bullying Iain during their time in the jungle.

Iain took to Twitter to post a segment of an interview Rebemah had given where she answered true or false to various claims aimed at her.

When asked if she was a ‘bully’ during the show, Rebekah told The Sun: “Edited TV looks a certain way. I don’t have anything bad to say about him.”

Sharing a screengrab of the quote, Iain then tweeted: “So @RebekahVardy claiming she didn't bully me because 'edited TV looks a certain way.

“They can only edit what you do and say. You don't get to say if I was bullied. You made my time in the jungle miserable. Don't start using me as part of your rehabilitation. The bully doesn't get to say whether it was bullying or not.”

OK! has contacted Rebekah Vardy's representative for comment.

It comes after Iain claimed back in June that Rebekah left him feeling "f**king miserable and isolated" during their time on the show in Australia.

The radio host made the scathing comments after he said he was contacted to take part in an interview focused on Rebekah's public mental health discussions in a Tweet.

He recalled how the interview was set to discuss how "brave" the star was for "promoting" the subject, and in response, Iain called Rebekah a "bully, a liar and a manipulator" and turned down the request.

"Just had an interview request to talk about how Rebekah Vardy is so brave for promoting mental health…" the radio personality began.

"She contributed to me being f**king miserable and isolated in the jungle…so, that's a pass from me."

Iain went on to share his response to the publication in a further Twitter post, detailing the exact words he used.

"I feel I have to explain my refusal," he told them. "I don't know if you saw any of I'm A Celebrity when I was in there.

"She [Rebekah] was part of a team that targeted me and made much of my time in there miserable.

"Her first comment to me was 'I think you're a bit of a t**t'. She encouraged people not to talk to and left me isolated (apart from two camp mates who were not taken in by her)."

The presenter then finished his rant by admitting he hoped the request for interview had been a secret attempt to get Iain to discuss her alleged "bullying" in the first place.

"Part of me hopes your email is a ruse to get an interview from me which I think is about her bravery and then you skewer to make it about her bullying and belittle-ing," he said.

Rebekah has consistently denied bullying Iain during their time in camp, later saying: "You know what, I was the one that was being the most supportive of him.

"A bully? I've never been a bully in my whole entire life."
