Jenny Lewis has tapped Ringo Starr to contribute to her next solo album, On the Line.
On the Line is expected to be released this spring via Warner Bros. Records. It will be the follow-up to 2014’s The Voyager.
In addition to Starr, Lewis also worked with Ryan Adams and Beck for On the Line. She has also received contributions from Benmont Tench, Don Was and Jim Keltner.
Lewis has not revealed a specific release date or full track list of the album, however, Lewis will preview the new songs on an upcoming tour.
Lewis will kick off her North American trek in support of On the Line on March 26 from Bloomington, Illinois, and wrap it up on May 25 in San Diego, California. The 24-date run includes stops in Madison, St. Paul, Chicago, Nashville, Austin, Los Angeles, Denver, Vancouver, Seattle, and Portland.
Pre-sales for Jenny Lewis’ North American tour begin on Wednesday, December 5 with the general sale to begin on Friday, December 7.
