While Selena Gomez was lighting up the red carpet in Louis Vuitton at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this week, Puma began airing their latest ad campaign in support of its new Spring-Summer 2019 “SG x PUMA” fashion collection. Like her collaboration with BFF Theresa Mingus’ Krahs swimsuit company, Selena’s newest collection for Puma has plenty of small details that apparently were inspired by her own life story.
The sporty line of travel, athleisure and workout gear — including sneakers — is Selena’s second such collection for Puma. Her first collection in 2017 was reportedly very successful, with most key pieces of the line selling out shortly after launch. This year’s sports collection seems broader and more comprehensive, so it will be interesting to see how well it performs.
