Piers Morgan, 56, made the admission following Prince William, 39, and 36-year-old Harry’s reunion at their mother Princess Diana’s statue unveiling today. The Royal brothers are said to be at the centre of a rift, which reportedly began in 2018.
Today, they seemed to get along as they reunited to reveal their late mother’s statue at Kensington Palace.
Piers shared his thoughts about the pair’s reunion and went on to spill details about a fiery moment he and Susanna had behind-the-scenes.
He wrote: “Susanna Reid and I once presented a whole three-hour episode of Good Morning Britain together without exchanging a single civil word on or off camera after a blazing row.
“But the viewers barely noticed thanks to our fixed cheesy grins and cheery chats with guests.”
Addressing Prince William and Harry’s reunion today, he pointed out that very few people know what’s really going on between the pair amid rift rumours.
“Yes, they smiled for the cameras and put on an apparently warm display of unity, and that was good to see,” he added in his Daily Mail column.
“But, the two men have had decades to practice hiding their real feelings from the public, and trust me, it’s easy.”
The journalist added: “Appearances can be deceptive.
“I’m assured that the division between the brothers runs very deep and very furiously.”
Piers left Good Morning Britain in March after comments he said about Meghan Markle sparked over 57,000 Ofcom complaints.
Prince Harry and his wife joined Oprah Winfrey in what was dubbed a “bombshell” interview to discuss their life in the Royal Family.
It was the pair’s first major interview since they quit their senior duties last year.

During the chat, Meghan said she felt suicidal and was refused help for her mental health.
She and Prince Harry also claimed that an unnamed member of the family had “concerns” about their son Archie’s skin colour.
The following day, Piers said he didn’t believe a word she said in the interview.
Following his departure from the show, he told press he still had the same views.
Addressing his swift exit, Susanna said as part of a lengthy statement: “Piers and I have disagreed on many things, and that dynamic was one of the things that viewers loved about the programme.
“He is, without doubt, an outspoken, challenging, opinionated, disruptive broadcaster. He has many critics and he has many fans.
“You all know that I disagreed with him about Meghan’s interview, he himself clarified his comments about her mental health on the show yesterday.
“There are many voices on GMB and everyone has their say. But now Piers has decided to leave the programme. Some of you may cheer and others will boo.”
