Terror In The Air: Jason Momoa's Plane Forced To Make Emergency Landing

Jason Momoa was involved in a terrifying incident on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 when he was a passenger on a private plane that had to make an emergency landing.

The Palm Springs Firefighters Instagram account at the California desert city’s airport posted a photo of Aquaman star Momoa, 39, standing with a fireman and giving a big thumb’s up to the camera after the ordeal.

The caption read, “Had an Aircraft emergency today. Reported engine fire with @prideofgypsies on board. ARFF Engineer Andy Meza told his crew, ‘Not on my watch boys…not on my watch.’ Turned out to be a false alarm but the ARFF Lads were on the ready. It’s always nice to meet cool people. #aquaman #palmsprings #firefighters #bestjobintheworld #ARFF #visitpalmsprings #local3601 #engine #truck #chiefmiller.”

The Pride of Gypsies is the production company Momoa set up in 2010, and he clearly had been taking the flight with some of his filmmaker crew buddies.

It appeared that Momoa, who is married to Lisa Bonet and has two kids, was on his way to his native Hawaii for a shoot.

Earlier, he had written on a caption on his own Instagram about a private plane being engaged “to get our asses there quick,” adding that he was wearing his “lucky Aloha shirt” and noting, “it’s f***ing business time ALOHA style. Cheeeehuuuuu. So stoked to be shooting with my brothers. Mahalo to everyone supporting or next journey.”
