The Who Announce Wembley Stadium Show With Eddie Vedder

The Who have announced a huge Wembley Stadium show that will feature Pearl Jam‘s Eddie Vedder and Kaiser Chiefs.

The Who’s Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend will return to the road this summer for their “Moving On!” world tour and will bring their iconic rock outfit to Wembley Stadium on July 6.

It will be the Who’s first London show since they played at the Royal Albert Hall in April 2017. Tickets go on general sale on Friday February 1, 2019 at 10 am at www.livenation.co.uk.

The band are set to be joined by guitarist and back-up singer Simon Townshend, keyboardist Loren Gold, bassist Jon Button and drummer Zak Starkey.

The Who will also be releasing their first album of new songs in thirteen years later this year.

Commenting on the upcoming tour, Townshend said, “The Who are touring again in 2019. Roger christened this tour Moving On! I love it.”

“It is what both of us want to do,” he added. “Move on, with new music, classic Who music, all performed in new and exciting ways. Taking risks, nothing to lose. Looking forward to seeing you all. Are you ready?”
